When you’re told no, it feels like a dead end. But a lot of the time, a “no” from one lender is really “not this way”. There are other lenders, other policies and other ways to show what you’ve got going for you.
That’s the idea behind the name. Our job is to switch the light on: to show you the paths you didn’t know existed, and walk you down the right one.

Perry "Pez" Walton
Pez spent 12 years in banking and finance, much of it on the lending side, before starting Illuminate. Over that time he saw how often a “no” was really just “not this way”.
Now, from his Gold Coast base, he works with families, first home buyers, investors and business owners all over Australia who need someone to look a little harder. He holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking, and he’ll always tell you straight.
